In 1907, Aves Owen first proposed the concept of progressive multifocal lenses, which marked the birth of a new concept of vision correction.
The design inspiration for this special lens comes from the shape of the nose. People make the curvature of the lens surface from top to bottom continuously increases, the refractive power changes, which is located in the upper part of the lens refractive power from the far zone, gradually and continuously increased, until the bottom of the lens in near area to meet the required close diopter.
